Gooseberry Garden

I just finished quilting this wallhanging called Gooseberry Garden.  It was pieced by my hubby, Roger Kerr (on line handle is Quilterguy) and I did the appliqué.  The pattern is a discontinued pattern designed by Judy and Brad Niemeyer of Quiltworx.

Once again, I used two battings.  Hobbs Washable wool on top, and Hobbs 80/20 on the bottom.  I love how this combination really accents the texture or the quilting!

I think the pictures tell the best story, so here are some more pictures….

And the back…

It was a fun quilt.  And I finished it just in time to take with us to a quilt show we are venting at this weekend!

Have I mentioned lately that I love what I do?!!!
